The East Kinston Neighborhood Hub is an active, community-centered campus that supports organizing, programming, and everyday connection in the heart of East Kinston.
Led by Kinston Teens, the Hub brings together space, people, and programming to meet immediate needs, strengthen relationships, and build long-term neighborhood resilience. It is a place where young people lead, neighbors gather, and community-driven solutions take shape year-round. The Hub is not a single building — it is a living initiative grounded in consistent presence, trust, and shared ownership.
Through the East Kinston Neighborhood Hub, Kinston Teens offers and hosts programming that includes:
Food access and community pantry support
Youth leadership development and civic engagement
Free technology access and digital programs
Monthly neighborhood gatherings with food, resources, and activities
Community meetings, planning sessions, and listening spaces
Mutual aid coordination and emergency support
Programming happens indoors and outdoors, during scheduled events and informal drop-in moments, reflecting the rhythms of neighborhood life.

The East Kinston Neighborhood Hub grew out of years of youth-led organizing, door-to-door outreach, and neighborhood engagement. It exists because residents and young people expressed the need for:
